Sunday, January 24th Join VTHM, Congregation Beth Jacob, JCOGS, and Congregation Beth El as we welcome local Vermont award winning war reporter and acclaimed author Jack Fairweather as he talks about the true story behind his novel “The Volunteer” which follows one man, an underground army, and the secret mission to destroy Auschwitz.

Yom HaShoah/Holocaust Remembrance Commemoration

Commemorate the lives of those lost as we focus on stories of survival. Hear award-winning lecturer and educator, Henia Lewin, share her personal story of survival and resilience.

Co-sponsored by JCOGS, the Vermont Holocaust Memorial, and the Greater Stowe Interfaith Coalition. 

The event is free, accessible and open to the public.

VTHM in conjunction with JCOGS and the Greater Stowe Interfaith Coalition will honor the lives and legacies of those lost, and focus on stories of survival, during the community's annual Holocaust Remembrance Day Commemoration.

This year's program will feature the 2014 Academy Award-winning Best Documentary Short Subject film: "The Lady in Number 6: Music Saved My Life," followed by a discussion with the film's executive producer, Frederic Bohbot.

The event is free, accessible and open to the public.
