ANTISEMITISM: Understanding and Countering this Hatred Today.

In-person, Wednesday, March 18, 2026 | 9AM-3PM (Doors open at 8:30AM) in Burlington, VT. Facilitated by Echoes & Reflections $50 fee per educator includes: full day program, 6 p.d. credits, materials, lunch, and snacks.

Registration opens December 17th, 2025

Exact location will be supplied to registrants prior to workshop.

WHY ATTEND THIS PROGRAM? How do we help students understand that antisemitism did not begin nor end with the Holocaust? What do students need to know in order to recognize antisemitism today and to stand up to antisemitism and other forms of hate?

This learning opportunity explores classroom materials to support effective teaching of antisemitism, its global reach, and its expression in the form of hate speech, violence, denial, and distortion of the Holocaust.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES Through this program, we will:

  1. Examine who the Jewish people are, and how antisemitism has affected the global Jewish community.

  2. Define antisemitism and explore how it has manifested and been animated to incite hatred in the past and today.

  3. Recognize some of the forces driving antisemitism today, across the political spectrum.

  4. Identify the danger of antisemitism to the Jewish community, and democratic society.

  5. Learn skills to help students recognize and combat antisemitism.

““I am impressed. I feel this gives me what I need to address this tough topic with my students. Thank you.””
